“I’m Karlie – the heart and hands behind my small business, Flood City Stitch. I have been creating since I was young and learned to crochet around the age of 8. After college I pursued work in the mental health field locally – but my passion has always been for art and creativity. I decided to step into this business in 2021 and become a full time maker. I specialize in handmade items for children, home decor, and wearables. I also have begun teaching beginner classes for those interested in learning this skill themselves.

I believe Johnstown is a wonderful place to live – I’m raising my son here and my husband has been a local business owner for 15 years. I’m committed to this community and hope to bring the magic of creativity and fiber art to Johnstown! “
