Hi, I’m Georgetta, otherwise known as Trail Mama! In 2023, I opened a backpack guiding business, Trail Mama Hikes, based in the beautiful Laurel Highlands. I am an experienced hiker and outdoor enthusiast.

The name Trail Mama was given to me because of my dedication to caring for and encouraging everyone I hike with, ensuring that all feel safe and supported on the trail. Having recently completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, I know the transformative power of nature and am passionate about sharing it with others. Certified in American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and NOLS Wilderness First Aid, I provide guidance as well as peace of mind for those seeking adventure in the great outdoors.
